FAQs - 8/19/07
1. On 8/1/07, the WWGC BOD
elected to open up the member roster by 50. At that time there
were over 100 individuals who had placed their name on a
"waiting list". Since then approximately 30 to 40
individuals have joined the WWGC member roster for a payment of
$2,000.00. This will give those individuals full playing privileges
through the end of 2008.
2. On a good day, the
number of rounds is between 125 to 140. About 25% of these are
member while 75% are green fee.
3. There is
continuing discussion surrounding a driving range and practice
facility. In addition, the plans are moving forward for a
multi use clubhouse that will house the new fleet of electric carts
as well as contain the proshop, grill room and a conference room.
FAQs - 06/10/07
1. Due to under whelming
demand, the BOD reduced the fee structure across the board to
increase the member base to 100 and increase the daily play count by
lowering the green fee from $60.00 to $35.00. Since the second
wave of "members" were recruited with a $1,000.00 per year
figure, individuals who had paid the $1,800.00 between March 1st and
June 1st (the lucky 55) were given the 2008 golf season free.
2. The BOD established
Mondays as "Senior Day", and "Buy 3 Get 1 Free"
on Tuesdays. Also set up a weekend special ($40.00 for
greenfee and cart) after 2:00PM.
FAQs - 3/10/07
1. What does
$1,800.00 get me? - The 2007 golf season will begin on June
1st. The $1,800.00 will allow the "member" to play
golf at a first class golf course with a management staff that will
pay particular attention to detail. For the 2007 golf season,
there are 100 slots available at the $1,800.00 play fee. The
same $1,800.00 play fee will be available for the 2008 golf
season. The fee will be higher for the 2009 golf season.
I do not know what that fee will be but I would like to believe
that with all things considered that 2009 fee will be no more than
$2,500.00
2. When does the golf
season start? - For 2007, the season will start on June 1st.
It should be noted that all turf care maintenance including putting
green aerification will be done before June 1st. There
will be no aerification in the fall. Therefore, the season
will flow continuously until the snow flies. For 2008 and
beyond, the golf season will follow traditional Erie region times.

chipping facility and playable 19th hole which looks to be about 100
yards in length.
6. Will there be club
tournaments? A member guest stag is planned for 2007 as well
as a club championship
7. If I walk, can I

restricted for league play? - No
10. Are outings going to

season
13. How do I reserve
a tee time? - Members will be able to reserve tee times two weeks in
advance while non-members can reserve one week in advance.
